Administration Leading Hand: Grassdale Feedlot

 A proudly Queensland brand, Mort & Co was first established in 1843.  Today, managing director, Charlie Mort, along with our team, has grown to become one
of the largest managers of feedlot cattle within Australia.

Grassdale Feedlot is currently seeking a leading hand in administration. This role requires an enthusiastic person with a keen eye for detail to assist our dedicated administration department helping to service the administration requirements of our state of the art beef cattle facility.

Working directly with the Administration Supervisor, this position requires someone who enjoys being part of a dynamic team and possess the below skills and attributes.

We are looking for candidates with:
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a desire to train and lead a team
• A high level of confidentiality and attention to detail
• Advanced computer skills and numerical literacy
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong work ethic
• Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously

Key functions of this role include:
• Financial EOM reporting and invoicing
• Human Resources and Payroll
• Accounts receivable and payable
• Data entry/ processing using specialist feedlot, HR and WHS systems
• Weighbridge operations including commodity and livestock document management
• A strong focus on WHS, QA and Food safety procedures
• Training of staff in software, functions and procedures and assisting where necessary
Mort & Co maintain an attractive wages package inclusive of overtime and allowances
Training, development and potential for career growth are a feature of this position.This position
is on a 5/2 roster, however some weekend relief work will be required.
