About the role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role will assist in the development and implementation of all elements of the marketing mix in order to achieve and exceed budgeted volumes, revenues, market share and profitability for the brand.

This position will play a key role in delivering marketing through strategic planning to drive growth for our Cereal and Snacks brands in China, as well as assisting with our continued success in Australia.

Key responsibilities of the role will be:

  • Assisting in the development, recommendation and implementation of brand positioning, promotional strategies and sales plans;
  • Generating insights into the consumption and behaviour of our Chinese market to ensure the alignment of our Marketing strategy;
  • Developing a community engagement plan;
  • Accountable for tracking and reporting ROI on all major marketing activities; and
  • Identify opportunities to drive the brand's growth and presence in China.

About you

Freedom Foods is in an exciting phase of growth and we are looking for someone who will join us on this journey and actively influence the direction of our Brand in China. To be successful in this role, you will be passionate and willing to challenge yourself in an environment where your success will be celebrated. You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Business;
  • The ability to speak Mandarin fluently, this is essential;
  • Minimum 3 years FMCG Marketing experience, with exposure in Brand Marketing Management and NPD;
  • Experience working within the Chinese market will be highly regarded;
  • Strong project management and efficiency skills;
  • High level of stakeholder engagement and appropriate communication management;
  • Experience with fast-moving consumer goods company;
  • Strong commercial acumen;
  • Ability to adopt a highly agile approach to their work practice; and
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritise.
