 About the role

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Commercial Manager to join our finance team based in Keysborough. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this challenging yet rewarding role involves providing financial and commercial insight to the Executive Leadership Team at Active.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Financial analysis of the core business activities, primarily in our 3PL Warehousing and Hardware divisions
  • Preparation of consistent and accurate financial and management reports with commentary
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with managers across the various departments in order to better understand their business units
  • Partner with key individuals within the business to provide commercial support
  • Assist the business leaders to determine pricing and ensure this covers relevant fixed and variable costs
  • Assist our sales team with tenders and key projects to ensure profitability
  • Assist with the implementation of relevant business and reporting systems
  • Continuous improvement of policies and procedures to ensure efficient business practices

The successful candidate will ideally have gained their experience within a manufacturing environment and will hold both a CA/CPA & a tertiary qualification in accounting.

Excellent communication skills, a high strong attention to detail along with the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders is essential for this role.
