Our client is a world-renowned organisation distributing essential parts and products to all types of automotive businesses ranging manufacturers, repair centres and dealerships of small cars/trams/trains etc. 

This is a great opportunity to join their close-knit team of staff who are more like family than anything.  Most of them have been with the business for a long period. 

Whilst Administration is the primary focus of this role, approximately 40% of your time will be spent doing end to end Accounts Payable. In fact, general bookkeeping skills would be handy. This integral role is part of different divisions including Finance, Sales & Marketing and Service, as such, we are looking for somebody who is adaptive and not too focused on just one of the roles specified. YOU MUST BE DYNAMIC, capable and willing to perform all tasks required to deliver all expectations. 

With the varierty on offer, this role will excite somebody who enjoys wearing different hats - working with different personality types and dealing with suppliers as well as customers. You must be a good team player who knows how to respect Colleagues and Managers. 

The person we seek is somebody who possesses the following skills and attributes: 

  • A well developed Office Administration Skills 
  • Excellent end to end knowledge of Accounts Payable and compliance procedures  
  • Experience in the Manufacturing sector would be ideal
  • Honesty and Personal Integrity with excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Strong ability to adhere to protocols 
  • Ability to work autonomously & independently whilst being a valued team member 
  • A down to earth, calm personality who enjoys being accountable 
  • A stable employment history 
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with a working knowledge of PRONTO ideal 
  • A respectful and respectable nature 
  • Strong work ethic and conscientious - can be trusted to complete tasks even when nobody is watching 
  • Customer Order Processing experience (ideal) 
  • A high level of confidence and competence
  • Initiative and a 'can do' manner 
  • Process driven and deadline oriented 
  • Professional and mature minded with a strong sense of ownership
  • Experience in a similar role within a small team (approx 10-15 staff) 

Our client offers an immediate start, a great starting salary of up to $55K + super, on-site parking, on the job training, etc. with core hours being 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.  
We are happy to look at 30-38 hours in total for the right person. 

This is a great position for somebody who enjoys going to work and getting the job done without any drama whatsoever!
