South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT) is a quasi-judicial tribunal.  The primary purpose of the Team Leader role is to provide leadership, supervision and coordination of the day-to-day operations within SACAT.

About the Opportunity

The primary purpose of the Team Leader role is to provide leadership, supervision and coordination of the day-to-day operations within the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT). The Team Leader’s focus is to ensure that SACAT’s objectives of accessibility, assistance, responsiveness, efficiency, flexibility and fairness are demonstrated in the services provided by the Senior Community Access Officer and Community Access Officers.

The Team Leader is expected to have a strong focus on achieving results and effective relationship management in a complex and changing business environment. Additional requirements of the Team Leader include:

- Motivating and assisting staff to develop a “can we help you” culture in all aspects of SACAT work.

- Supporting staff in adapting to a new multi-jurisdictional environment which will evolve and develop as areas of jurisdiction expand.

- Assisting in improving case management processes in a changing environment.

The role is required to promote a strong focus on internal and external customer service and in particular the “can we help you” culture of SACAT.

Special Conditions for Employment

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be advised to submit their National Police Check Application form, including certified identification documents, to the AGD if an interview is requested. The form is not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD. If you are invited for an interview you will be required to bring a completed Job Application Pack and National Police Clearance form and ID.

Employment is also dependent upon a DHS Child Related and Vulnerable Person related clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.
