Quality Assurance Officer

Lipa Pharmaceuticals Limited is a contract manufacturer of pharmaceuticals based in South West Sydney.  Our company is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer.

Working as part of the dynamic QA team, you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and personal attributes:

  • Good understanding of GMP as applied in a pharmaceutical setting
  • Reviewing and maintaining quality management system (QMS) documentation including SOPs
  • Investigate/follow-up customer enquiries, complaints and non-conformance issues
  • and actioning related processes as required
  • Understanding of and experience in compiling Product Quality Reviews
  • Reporting and tracking corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
  • Processing and follow up of Deviations and Change Controls
  • Able to assist with internal and external audits, and compile detailed reports
  • Drafting written responses to Customers as required
  • Trending and analysing of key quality data as part of the Quality Management Review process.

For this role, the ideal candidate must have recognised qualifications in a Life Science, supported by experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical / food or related industry. Your knowledge and understanding of quality systems as well as your attention to detail should be of a high standard. .

Other desirable attributes required are as follows:

  • Good analytical, organisational and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Sound organisation and ability to work under own volition as well as functioning as an effective part of a broad team
  • Meeting deadlines and working under conflicting time pressures.
