Change Management Specialist

About the opportunity:

HomeStart Finance has a two year contract opportunity for an experienced Change Management Specialist to support the organisation through a major IT  business transformation.

About you:

  • 5 + years in a similar role
  • Degree qualified in Business, HR or a Change related discipline
  • Experience working on a portfolio of projects
  • Experience in delivering Change Management initiatives as part of a project within an organisation
  • Proven track record and knowledge of Change Management principles, methodologies, tools and their implementation in a complex environment
  • Open, approachable and  collaborative work style.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Think broadly about change impacts to the business within the context of the projects
  • Identify barriers to the business initiatives and develop change strategies, plans, TNA's, communications and schedules to overcome these barriers
  • Ensure sustainable change occurs by understanding the requirements of the business and ensuring key areas are operationally ready
  • Develop comprehensive ways of leading the Change Management effort through all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with project managers and other key leads and seek input and feedback on the effectiveness of the Change Management plan
  • Assist in identifying suitable change agents and lead, educate, mentor and coach these change agents on change management throughout the change program
  • Act as a mentor and Change Agent to improve overall organisational Change Management capability.
