Program Support Officer

Endeavour Foundation is a fast growing for-purpose national organisation with over 5,000 staff plus volunteers, providing support and services to people with a disability in over 300 locations nationally. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is being implemented and is a landmark time of transformation within our sector, providing an opportunity for you to be at the forefront of one of the biggest organisational change and people transformation journeys in Australia.

This position is being offered on a full time basis and will be based at our Business Service in Mt Druitt however also covers Castle Hill and Seven Hills.

About The Role

Our opportunity supports the Practice Development Manager and the business unit Employment Coaches through the provision of administrative and compliance support ensuring the legislative and government reporting and accreditation requirements of the Australian Disability Enterprise program are achieved.

  • Coordinate all activities relating to the business units reporting and compliance with Department of Social Services (DSS) program guidelines, National Standards for Disability Services and organisational Quality Management System
  • Timely and accurate completion of documentation and reporting that meets government and organisational requirements
  • Prepare routine correspondence and ensure that it is sent in a timely manner
  • Ensure payroll data is provided to the relevant departments to facilitate the payment of wages and other entitlements are made to Supported Employees in an accurate and timely manner
  • Encourage employees to develop effective teamwork practices through positive role modelling
  • Support Employment Coaches in liaising with external providers of vocational and appropriate non-vocational training and learning for Supported Employees

About You

  • Ability to coordinate projects and activities
  • Training and assessment experience
  • Demonstrated experience working within a Quality Assurance Framework
  • Advanced level of competency in the use of Microsoft Office Software
  • Demonstrated capability to meet outcomes within required time frames
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills to identify problems and develop solutions
  • Implementing developed solutions using a logical and systematic approach
  • The ability to work well in a team environment
  • Experience working in an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) (Ideal however not essential)
  • Current Drivers License
