My Health Record Allied Health Engagement Consultant Part Time to 30 June 2019

Brisbane South PHN has an exciting opportunity for you to be part of our team and support the implementation of My Health Record in Brisbane South region.  You will facilitate and manage strong, productive partnerships with the Australian Digital Health Agency and our Primary Health stakeholders to promote and support the implementation of the My Health Record initiative.  This part time opportunity is to June 2019, flexible hours can be arranged.

Brisbane South PHN is a dynamic primary health organisation concerned with improving whole-of-life health and wellbeing across our region through a well-coordinated and collaborative primary health sector, particularly for people at risk of poor outcomes – our vision is Better System, Better Health.  Brisbane South PHN is focused on partnering with primary health service providers to facilitate an integrated approach to the delivery of timely, flexible health and community services in local communities for local people through our key projects to ensure our programs deliver optimal outcomes for the community.

To achieve success in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated understanding and/or use of My Health Record, PRODA and HPOS.
  • Experience in the use of, and aptitude for learning and demonstrating ICT solutions and applications.
  • High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of the primary health care sector and its role within the Australian health system.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships both internal and external to Brisbane South PHN as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated solution-focused problem solving skills within the scope of the role and ability to escalate matters as appropriate.
  • Proven capacity to work autonomously and independently within the scope of the role.
  • Tertiary qualification and/or registration as an Allied Health professional is desirable.
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Positive National Police Check
