Property and Workplace Assistant

Reporting to the Property and Workplace Manager, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the efficient and professional running of the office, whilst projecting a friendly and corporate image. We will train the right candidate to take an important client facing role by providing professional reception cover.

As a Property and Workplace Assistant, you will be the face of the firm, so we're looking for someone who can demonstrate a level of maturity and is extremely personable, energetic and has a fantastic attitude.

Your duties will include...

  • daily mail, arranging couriers and general deliveries
  • delivery of court documents
  • moving of office furniture and assisting with new joiner desk set ups
  • coordinate the movement and/or relocation of files, large matters - considerable lifting and manual handling may be required
  • photocopying, collating and binding documents
  • maintaining and stocking stationary and office supplies
  • filing and archiving
  • housekeeping and office maintenance
  • Reception and switchboard relief
  • general administration duties
  • assisting with the setting up and taking down of facilities for all functions, including meetings, seminars, conferences and formal lunches - some after-hours assistance may be required

To be successful in this role, you must...

  • have a mature attitude and bundles of initiative
  • possess the ability to transition between tasks quickly and efficiently
  • be an exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • be passionate about providing exceptional service to clients
  • have the ability to work to deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
  • be detail orientated and meticulous about your work and performance
  • be a proactive team player who enjoys interacting with staff at all levels
  • be confident with the MS suite of products
  • have the ability to move heavy items if required

This role is full time role, working within the hours of 8.00 am to 5.30 pm daily.

To be considered for this role, you will have ideally have 1-3 years' experience working in a similar role within a professional services environment.

You will possess excellent communication skills (both written and oral), demonstrate an eye for detail and approach your tasks with enthusiasm and pride. You will thrive in a fast-paced working environment, and relish the opportunity to exercise your proven time management and organisational skills to deliver excellent client service.

You are a fast learner with a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys working in a team based environment, cooperating with others and approaching all set tasks with enthusiasm.
