National Business Manager - Petrol & Convenience

About the role

Based at our Head Office in the Sutherland Shire, this role will be responsible for leading the growth within our newly created Petrol & Convenience category.

A strong focus will be placed on developing and managing relationships within the industry and working with them on business growth opportunities, beneficial to all parties.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Full accountability for identifying and qualifying national account leads;
  • Effective management of sales pipeline and developing strategies for long-term sustained success;
  • Collaboration with internal teams to deliver superior customer service;
  • Comprehensive sales and activity reporting;
  • Development and growth within existing portfolio;
  • Customer management;
  • Work with Marketing to achieve the best possible brand and product strategies that can be effectively executed across the category;
  • Develop and leverage insight led strategies to drive growth; and
  • Deliver top line growth and margin targets.

About you

You will be experienced within the Petrol & Convenience industry, and bring your passion and creative flare to this role to drive and deliver key results. The successful candidate will have the ability to display a sound understanding of the network and thrive in an agile working environment.

Additionally, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing;
  • Minimum 5 years in a National Business Manager role;
  • FMCG knowledge, with a strong understanding of the industry and Account Management experience;
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence outcomes;
  • High levels of tenacity and resilience, with a results orientated mentality;
  • Ability to think creatively and present new proposals to add value;
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and selling skills;
  • Ability to multi-task with competing priorities; and
  • Independent and autonomous self-starter.
