ICT Support Officer

About the role

Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is a key resource in our ICT team responsible for execution and management of our helpdesk.

This role is a user facing interactive role with diverse support categories required across our multi-site, multi-application setup.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Driving efficiencies in process and being a part of our infrastructure refresh programs;
  • Supporting project activities to bring about technology changes;
  • Taking the lead on reviewing support calls, prioritization, resolution and close of calls to support our internal SLAs for response and resolution;
  • Managing the helpdesk queue, including the execution of support calls and/or escalation of calls to support resolution;
  • Following up and closure of calls with users and the wider support team;
  • Monitoring helpdesk queues to ensure SLAs are meet;
  • Reporting on call trends, activity and opportunities for improvement;
  • User education on helpdesk usage; and
  • Overall helpdesk execution.

About you

Together with a real passion and desire to help those around you at embracing technology, you will have:

  • Vendor or TAFE certification will be highly regarded;
  • A passion for technology and a desire to help end users embrace it;
  • Strong system knowledge;
  • Manufacturing or supply chain background will be an advantage;
  • Continuous improvement and outcome focus;
  •  Ability to thrive in a fast paced and agile working environment;
  • Strong commercial acumen;
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritise;
  • Ability to multi-task with competing priorities; and
  • Independent and autonomous self-starter.
