Export Coordinator

About the role

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role will be responsible for the end-to-end export process, including the facilitation of logistics and administrative functions.

This role will see you focus on building key relationships, with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a high level of accuracy and driving process improvements across the Company.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Preparing and completing export shipping documentation in an accurate and efficient manner;
  • Reviewing orders for item and transport instruction errors;
  • Coordinating and communicating with internal and external customers regarding product availability and transportation requirements;
  • Liaising with demand planning and inventory;
  • Adding comments and issue report of all orders without stock availability dates;
  • Keeping track of stock availability and held stock as required; and
  • Liaising with freight forwarders for timely loading of vessel booking information.

About you

The successful candidate will have a realistic and practical understanding of the end-to-end export and logistics process. Additionally you will have:

  • Minimum of 3 year's experience in an Export or Logistics role;
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and efficient data entry skills;
  • Superior time management skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment;
  • Strong commercial acumen;
  • High level of stakeholder engagement; and
  • Ability to multi-task with competing priorities.
