The business continues to grow, and this role represents an exciting opportunity for the right person to play a critical role on the execution of Amtek’s growth vision. It is a newly created senior executive position and will play a key and influential part in the future direction and growth of the company.

Who are we looking for?

We work in a technical and maintenance services capacity with a range of businesses. The prime emphasis of this role is to lead the account management client relationship activities end to end as well as leading the business development activities either direct to client or via channel partner relationships. Developing existing and new client relationships, pitching new innovative strategies to support scale and growth will be key outcomes of the role.

Some of what you'll be doing includes:

  • You will be responsible for the end to end management of client accounts including strategy development, implementation, optimisations and reporting.
  • Partnering with clients and / or channel partners to understand key objectives and success metrics - be the face of the campaigns, providing feedback, strategic direction and recommendations in line with client objectives.
  • Account Management of strategic clients and / or projects.
  • Experience in developing pricing models and forecasts that impact purchasing decisions.
  • Identifying and supporting new client opportunities – writing of proposals, pitch presentation and on-boarding processes.
  • Building and mentoring a high quality, professional account management team/function.
  • Collaborate with the wider business to create exceptional outcomes for clients.
  • Champion a customer focussed culture within the business
     

We want to hear from people who:

  • Have minimum of 10 years' experience in account management preferably with a technical services or field services oriented environment
  • Proven ability to directly grow business within existing accounts
  • Experience in identification and formation of new business relationships, either direct or via channel partnerships
  • Have the ability to consult with senior stakeholders and implement successful business/account management strategies
  • Are experienced working to deadlines and in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Possess an analytical background with a proven record of identifying and prioritising opportunities for improvement.
  • Are confident when communicating strategies to executive management and senior operational teams
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and also collaborate and lead by example within a team
  • Accept the challenge to build and motivate an account management team
  • Are able to demonstrate the value of technical services internally and externally
