Digital Health Implementation Consultant

Brisbane South PHN has an exciting opportunity to join our team.  You will work to build strong and productive partnerships with primary health providers and practices in the adoption and implementation of Digital Health initiatives.  This is a full time fixed term role until 31 December, 2019.

Brisbane South PHN is a dynamic primary health organisation concerned with improving whole-of-life health and wellbeing across our region through a well-coordinated and collaborative primary health sector, particularly for people at risk of poor outcomes – our vision is Better System, Better Health.  Brisbane South PHN is focused on partnering with primary health service providers to facilitate an integrated approach to the delivery of timely, flexible health and community services in local communities for local people through our key projects to ensure our programs deliver optimal outcomes for the community.

To achieve success in these roles, you will need:

  • Experience in the use of, and aptitude for learning ICT solutions and applications, including clinical and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and teach others how to use various ICT solutions and applications.
  • High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of the primary health care sector and its role within the Australian health system.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships both internal and external to Brisbane South PHN as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated solution-focused problem solving skills within the scope of the role and ability to escalate matters as appropriate.
  • Proven capacity to work autonomously and independently within the scope of the role.
  • Knowledge and experience in use of the My Health Record is desirable.
  • Knowledge, experience and/or an aptitude for learning data modelling and analysis is desirable.
  • Tertiary qualification in health, ICT, business or related field is desirable.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Positive National Police Check.
