About our Client

Our client has secured a long term contract at a mine site near Blackwater and is looking for experienced multi skilled mobile plant operators who are safety minded individuals to join their production team.

About the Role

Reporting to the production superintendant you will operate mobile plant equipment consisting of Komatsu 730 & 830 E haul trucks as well as water cart and graders.

As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the client's production requirements. This is a Drive in Drive out role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate mobile plant equipment, consisting of Komatsu Electric Haul trucks, graders and water cart
  • Working 7/7 rosters at a mine site in the Bowen Basin
  • Pre Start Checks
  • Operate equipment safely
  • Follow company policies and procedures

Skills/Experience

  • Experience operating electric haul trucks, water carts and graders on a coal mine site
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Coal Board Medical
  • Standard 11
  • Curragh induction (preferred)
  • Current skills or RII's
  • High level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Your Key focus is safety with a high attention to detail to abide by site procedures
  • A medical including drug and alcohol testing is required as part of the recruitment process
