WHAT DOES THE ROLE FOCUS ON?

  • Preparing financial statements/maintaining accuracy of accounting systems and records
  • You will work closely with the Accounts team on a range of responsibilities
  • This role plays a key part in keeping the Group informed on any financial issues that may have an adverse impact on the group
  • You will accurately maintain all Accounts data in relevant systems including Insphire, Evolution, Timberline and Excel
  • You will work with the CFO on preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Prepare and assist with statutory compliance requirements such as BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and FBT within required timeframes.

WHAT CAPABILITIES DO YOU NEED?

  • Strong Accounting Knowledge
  • High level of administration and computer literacy
  • High attention to details and competent approach to problem solving
  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Be flexible with working hours to meet deadlines
  • Maintain a strong team commitment within the division and company generally
  • Identify and minimise risks for the company, maximise profit and sales and protect the company’s interests
  • Understand and implement company policy and procedures and directives of Senior Management and Directors
  • Represent the company to all parties internal and external in a professional
    and ethical manner and maintain the company image and reputation
