Duty Manager

Mango Hill Tavern is part of Spirit Hotels.  We operate over 70 hotels in Queensland with small portfolios in Western Australia & South Australia.  Our pubs feature some of the best bars, restaurants, fast casual dining options and gaming rooms across Australia and our core purpose is to operate ‘Great Pubs Locals Love’. This a great structured environment for those looking for progression and a long term hospitality career.

The hotel itself is based in a strong growing economic area which encompasses a fast paced environment and variety of guests. We boast a modern, contemporary designed building with warm and earthy tones throughout. There are features of recycled timber and modern technology throughout all areas including our 230 seat restaurant, Sports bar and state of the art gaming room.

Our Duty Managers are multi-talented hospitality leaders who are switched on, energetic team players.  Our Duty Managers are a crucial link between our front line team members and hotel manager.  They support and guide team members on a daily basis and their actions always promote our desired values and workplace culture.  Duty Managers are dressed to impress and are driven by a passion for people, quality and continuous learning.

What do I need to have?

You’ll need to be a champion of all things service and hospitality, and:

  • Lead with a hands on approach
  • Have a strong focus in team culture and business development
  • Demonstrate a passion for customer service
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, compliance and cash handling procedures.
  • Time flexibility as you will work rostered shifts including nights and weekends.
  • Have demonstrated experience in a similar role in a high volume customer environment.
  • Hold a current Approved Manager’s license, RSA, RSG and RMLV.
