Reliability Technician - Nutritionals

About the role

Freedom Foods has developed a Greenfield Nutritional Site which includes several world first, state of the art manufacturing technologies. 

This role will assist the Reliability Manager and Manufacturing Team, delivering a reliability program to ensure the business is capable of producing and delivering highly nutritious products to our customers on time, every time.

You will be required to:

  • Be a key member of the Nutritional Manufacturing Team and work together within an environment that demands that all team members deliver outstanding results;
  • Lead specialised contractors and the production technicians to maintain the state of the art manufacturing facility, including several world first technologies; and
  • Optimise the Nutritional Plants performance in terms of reliability and quality of its products while skilling up the production teams.

Key points we are looking for 

  • Previous experience as a Reliability Technician;
  • Ability to support a 24x7, 365 days per year production environment;
  • Demonstrated Allan Bradley and SCADA experience;
  • Reliability background in food, dairy or a high care manufacturing site is desirable but not essential;
  • Mechanical, electrical or duel trade skills;
  • Strong MEX knowledge and ability to build PM Systems;
  • Ability to learn and develop skills quickly;
  • Ability to coach and skill others; and
  • Passionate about your work and the products you manufacture, always looking to work smarter, ensure you get the job done and have a team first approach.
