FIFO - Sample Preparation Technician

We are seeking experienced Sample Preparation / Laboratory Technicians for work FIFO from Perth only. Previous experience on mine sites working in the site laboratory would be highly regarded.

Reporting to the Supervisor, the core responsibilities and tasks include (but not limited to):

  • Preparing and processing samples for analysis
  • Sample preparation - sorting, weighing, drying, crushing, splitting and pulverising

Essential Experience:

  • Ability to work a physical job
  • Able to work in a dusty/hot mining environment
  • Supply a recent National Police Clearance or be able to apply for one immediately
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
  • Be able to pass a full drug screen
  • Fire Assaying of samples would be highly regarded

The Swing Rosters:

  • 2 x 6th Dec - 20th Dec (1 swing only)
  • 1 x 6th Dec - 20th Dec & 27th Dec - 10th Jan (2 swings only)
