Occupational Therapist - BRISBANE NORTH

Permanent Full - Time

With more than 80 years of experience behind us, Montrose has evolved into a modern, customer focused service provider supporting children and young people with a disability throughout Queensland.

What sets us apart is the amazing team of people working with our customers and their families. Being part of the Montrose community means you're making a positive difference to so many lives. We think you'll love working here!

We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Brisbane North team and service our Inner North Brisbane caseload on a permanent full time basis. Graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered for the role.

This high performing team currently provides services to North of the Brisbane river as far north as Caboolture. Services include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Social Work, all of which can be provided in our service centre, home or community.

To join the team, you'll need (selection criteria):

  • Mandatory recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Prior experience in paediatrics and working with people with autism is preferred.  Montrose will support experienced therapists who want to make a transition to paediatric practice.

To be considered for this role, you must also have:

  • Current CPR certificate (or able to obtain prior to commencement).
  • Current Australian driver's licence.
  • Current or be eligible to apply for a Working with Children Check (blue card) & Disability Services positive notice card (yellow card).
  • Excellent administration, attention to detail & computer skills.

It sounds a bit clichéd but there are too many to list so we've put them together into a brochure – you can download it here. The highlights include:

  • Great salary and leave packaging options
  • Assistance to keep you happy and healthy
  • Second to none in terms of professional development and mentoring
  • Flexible working arrangements and a family friendly environment
  • Eight weeks paid maternity leave
  • Modern, high quality workplaces
