National Account Executive

About the role

The key function will be to achieve and execute financial targets for all accounts through customer and business management.

The emphasis of this position is to implement and direct sales strategies, manage product portfolio and negotiations while supporting the National Business Manager.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts;
  • Improve Sales and Gross Profit on existing and SKU’s;
  • Execute new product launches with timely and effective execution to maximise customer impact in the marketplace;
  • Seek new opportunities and sales growth;
  • Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals;
  • Generate and provide relevant data with commentary, insights and recommendations to assist valuable decisions for Freedom Foods and our customers;
  • Developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term. 

About you

Together with demonstrated success in a similar role, you will:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing;
  • FMCG knowledge, with a strong understanding of the industry and Account Management experience;
  • A results focused mind-set with experience dealing with multiple stakeholders (internal & external);
  • Strong commercial acumen;
  • Able to demonstrate their ability to drive sales through innovative strategies and out-the-box initiatives;
  • High levels of tenacity and resilience, with a results orientated mentality;
  • Good negotiation skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers.
