The Opportunity

HealthStrong are looking for an experienced Staff Allocation Officer to manage operational scheduling and develop strong partnerships with both HealthStrong employees and clients. Working as part of team, your role will focus on ensuring staff are rostered to relevant facilities, while demonstrating exceptional customer care and best practice. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Confirming clinic appointments and keeping client contact details up to date.
  • Optimising hours scheduled at facilities and ensuring they are in line with requirements.
  • Making travel arrangements as required.
  • Preparing Practitioner schedules using Skedulo.
  • Ensuring that all sick leave is covered and facilities and relevant staff are notified.
  • Planning annual leave and training schedules.  
  • Preparing practitioner schedules ahead of time.
  • Liaising with HR as to Fair Work and company guidelines.
  • Liaising with the Billing team to ensure hours delivered are billed accurately.
  • Working with Clinical Leaders and Service Delivery Managers for the effective management and allocation of staff across the nation.

About You

You are an enthusiastic, customer service focussed with experience in staff allocation / rostering activities preferred. With the ability to work autonomously, you thrive in building relationships and love to contribute professionally to a multidisciplinary environment. You are adaptable, enjoy meeting new people and the challenge of problem solving.   You will also be / have:

  • Able to prioritise and handle time sensitive scheduling requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and solutions focused with the ability to provide an effective solution for staff allocation across the nation
  • Focused on continuous improvement while being a team player.
