ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Adelaide sales teams to manage established international and domestic customers, to build the Bickford's Group of Companies product portfolio. The successful applicant will effectively manage, promote and sell alcohol and non-alcohol products in order to maximise brand exposure, sales volumes and profits. Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing an existing client base of retail customers, growing volume, distribution and profitability, achieving sales and distribution targets
  • Assisting the International Sales Manager in managing and developing trade marketing activity for the NZ/Pacific region
  • Coordinating International Trade Shows
  • Managing a varied portfolio of accounts
  • Executing State and National Strategy's, Business Plans and Promotional Programs   
  • Planning and executing an effective journey plan
  • Accurately recording and entering data into company systems
  • Submitting documents for airline, hotel and Nordic tenders
  • Timely reporting and sales administrative tasks as required

The successful candidate will be required to travel interstate (5 times per annum) and internationally (2 times per annum). You will spend 2 days in the S.A. Bickford's Group of Companies sales teams and 3 days in the International Sales team each week for the first year, with the long term vision to be full time in the International team.

Ideally you will be results orientated, hungry for success and understand the importance of delivering quality customer service to clients whilst working to meet sales targets. To be successful in the role you will have outstanding interpersonal skills, be willing to challenge the norm and have a genuine passion for achieving goals and developing the business. Proven success in a similar sales role or retail experience within an FMCG industry is preferred. Understanding and passion of beverage products is essential.
