About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to provide professional and customer service focused HR generalist support and services to staff and management of Honda Australia. This role coordinates and provides a range of HR operational activities across the organisation.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and managing the onboarding process including letters of offer, new starter documentation, new starter activities and first day induction
  • Providing assistance to end to end recruitment
  • Assist with identifying and developing P&C policies and procedures
  • Providing support and advice to all employees
  • Coordinate training and development activities as per annual training plan and compliance requirements in conjunction with Associate development plans, training requests and budget allocations
  • Manage and actively promote employee programs
  • Provide back-up payroll support to Payroll Coordinator
  • Plan and project manage the delivery of HR activities and events
  • Coordinating the probation and exit process
  • Ensuring all reporting is accurate and up to date
  • Provide operational P&C support to the department and wider business in regards to P&C/Administration activities including canteen catch ups, end of year events and other programs, events and activities as required
  • Coordinate people activities in line with business requirements
  • Raising purchase orders for P&C expenses
 About you
The successful candidate will have:
  • 4 years’ previous experience in HR with exposure to recruitment and payroll
  • A completed tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a similar field is desirable
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the business to provide advice and support
  • Ability to work autonomously, efficiently and with purpose
  • Strong ability to solve problems and to use initiative
  • High attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and Word
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of SAP system for completing purchase orders, preferred but not essential
