We have an exciting opportunity for an Audio Publisher to join a developing business area within Penguin Random House, based in our North Sydney Office.

In this role, you will be responsible for project managing the end-to-end delivery of audio book projects and bringing best-in-class audiobook productions to the market, ultimately maximising sales and increasing revenue.

You will liaise with authors, agents, actors/narrators and sound engineers on all matters related to the delivery of audiobook content, including being involved in the decision making on title selection and casting, collaborating with internal departments such as publishing, rights, marketing and publicity, and providing regular status updates to all stakeholders.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in publishing, audiobooks or related industry. You will have proven experience managing projects from conception to implementation, and will have exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment, will be able to constantly prioritise, and will be a good problem solver. Previous experience working with authors is highly desired.
