Sales Executive

About the Role:

To provide specialist business support within the certification industry to meet objectives. As the Sales Executive, you will use established procedures & previous experience and knowledge to effectively handle complex / demanding situations.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop strong and demonstrable understanding of LRQA products, services, systems and processes and keep up-to-date on changes ongoing.
  • Identification of new business opportunities; in line with LRQA Strategy which focuses on Certification, Training, Business Improvement Services i.e. 2nd Party audits, Supply Chain and Customised Solution Selling.
  • To man the incoming sales enquiries telephone and the incoming email enquiries line for Australia and distribute the leads internally to the relevant team members.
  • Liaise with Account Manager, Assessors, Trainers, Client Services and Client Training Services teams to ensure client expectations are communicated and understood at both proposal development and handover to service delivery team.
  • Promote LRQA products and services through identifying opportunities, conducting sales visits, developing quotations and converting quotes to contracts that achieve individual, team and other business growth targets.  
  • Contribute and achieve/exceed team days sold targets and associated KPI’s.
  • Build and maintain good client relationships through proactive communication and action to fulfil client expectations. Monitor, evaluate and act on client feedback.
  • Ensure that activities within their area of control are carried out in line with internal procedures, contractual requirements, cost structures and budget constraints.
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation and industry standards.
  • Build relationships with internal and external clients, as appropriate, including resolution of support service problems.
  • Ensures documentation/data/information and tasks relevant to the section are planned, evaluated and processed in accordance with local business requirements and agreed deadlines.
  • Review & analyse data to provide management information/statistics, including the identification and reporting of process failures, to support the overall delivery of processes.
  • Undertake necessary documentation, data, administration and communication activities needed to successfully fulfil responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive and full understanding of the markets we operate in, both from an LRQA perspective and from an overall perspective and the ability to look and think “outside the box” joined with capability to translate perceived opportunities into factual information.
