About the Opportunity

The Program Support Officer will work collaboratively with and provide administrative support to the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Team. This role supports the development and coordination of commissioned services, management of governance bodies, mental health reform, regional planning and other activities as directed.

This position is full-time and is funded for a 12 month period. Future employment is subject to ongoing funding.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has demonstrated experience in an administration role that involved a high level of efficiency, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. Our ideal candidate will have intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe suite. Highly developed minute taking skills are a must. Key to this role is the possession of proficient communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to liaise with people at all levels and work cooperatively with fellow staff.
