Project Manager

Enviropacific provides specialist engineering and applied science solutions for the prevention and remediation of solid and liquid contamination.  Since 2001, we've made it our business to prevent, stop and reverse environmental damage to create safer, healthier communities. Working across Australia, we employ over 250 staff across 8 offices, and are a trusted provider to the property, infrastructure, industrial, defence and petroleum sectors.

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager who is keen to hit the ground running by taking an active involvement in our projects and the development of our business in this rapidly expanding marketplace.

You will join our team based from our Notting Hill office, and be working on sites/projects across Victoria. Reporting to the Victoria Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the professional oversight of the identification, tendering and delivery of Remediation projects across Melbourne and regional centres. 

The Project Manager will be responsible for: 

  • Managing projects from tender phase through to award of contract, design, construction, commissioning and operation. 
  • Ensuring Company safety and environment standards are maintained
  • Managing and maintaining high levels of quality control. 
  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers. 
  • Managing project personnel to meet project objectives.
  • Managing project forecast and budget to ensure financial success of the project. 
  • Maintaining good client/customer relationships, including the successful delivery of projects.

Selection criteria for this role:

  • A Bachelor degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 10+ years' previous construction experience, specialising in Remediation and Environmental projects or Civil projects up to $10m in value.
  • Experience in major remediation earth works, retention solutions and implementation of stringent environmental controls. 
  • Contract and budget management experience. 
  • Demonstrated understanding in the development and implementation of Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality management systems.
  • Understanding of the requirements of working with hazardous materials. 
  • Demonstrated practical on-site experience. 
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop relationships with team members, clients and contractors to ensure excellence in project delivery.
  • High level organisational skills, computer literacy and excellent written / verbal communication. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project. 
  • Flexibility to work site hours and hold a valid driver's licence.
