Food and Beverage Attendant - In Room Dining

We are currently seeking a Part Time Food & Beverage Attendant – In Room Dining to join our dynamic Food & Beverage Team.

 

In this role you will: 

 

Represent our professional service philosophy while providing food and beverage service to our in house hotel guests.

 

Reporting to the Outlet Manager, the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Provide superior service to our In Room Dining guests, by promptly answering telephone enquiries, taking orders accurately, repeating order back to guest and ensuring meals are delivered within allocated time frames
  • Set all trays, collect and check orders and deliver food and beverages to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance
  • Ensure guest billing, charge backs and dockets are completed accurately following hotel procedure
  • Set, deliver, record and charge amenities to standard and procedures
  • Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service and promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practices
  • A friendly, guest focused attitude with passion for providing exceptional guest service

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience working autonomously and to deadlines
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Experience in similar roles in a luxury environment desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with all your Hotel colleagues
  • Friendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of personal presentation
  • A true desire to work, grow and develop your management career within the Sofitel Brisbane Central in a 5 Star environment

Further to this experience, to be successful in this role, you will have unlimited work rights in Australia and will be available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends as per our business demands.
