Hunter Care Group (HCG), is a leading mental health support service that employees over 120 staff in the Hunter Valley.
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our friendly team!

This is a permanent full-time role and is available for an immediate start for the right candidate, with remuneration based on experience and capabilities.

Reporting directly to the CEO, duties will include:

  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Processing accounts payable & bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of month end financial reports
  • Preparation and processing of client payrolls / timesheets
  • Assistance with BAS and PAYG preparation
  • General bookkeeping, document management and other administrative tasks as required
  • Issuing and following up invoices
  • Payment of company bills and managing accounts

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in Windows / Microsoft Office software
  • Good spelling and grammatical skills
  • High level of competency in XERO and account reconciliation
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with client management software


Job Details:
38.00 hours per week
Monday to Friday 
Hours to be discussed upon interview
