Home to the QHA Awarded Best Restaurant of 2017 and 2018, The Boatshed speaks modern Australian cuisine with a speciality for wet and dry aged steak. The Boatshed restaurant has carved a niche as a symbol of stylish and relaxed gastro-pub dining, with sprawling river views and an innovative, seasonal menu.

What do I need to have?
We are on the lookout for a team player who is willing to work with both the front of house and kitchen team to deliver top quality food in our hotel. We challenge traditional pecking orders as we seek chefs who inspire, collaborate and contribute to an open, honest and comfortable workplace. 

You will be:

  • Trade qualified:  Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
  • Passionate about food and creating exceptional dining experiences.
  • A part of our tight knit team in an exciting, fast moving environment.
  • Flexible as you will work rostered shifts including nights and weekends.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, compliance and cash handling procedures.
