Logistics Administration Officer

About the role:


Due to our continuing growth, we are seeking a responsible individual to join our existing Logistics Quality Management Department located in Oakleigh South, Melbourne.

 

As a Logistics Quality Management (LQM) Administration Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing the logistics’ operation processes within the business to ensure it is in compliance with OH&S regulations and overall standard operating procedures.

 

Some of the primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Full project life-cycle overview – including identifying areas of improvement, providing recommendations, implementation and review
  • Ensure office/warehouse and operation processes meet OH&S requirements and organise maintenance and improvements as required.
  • Monitor and review 3rd party service provider performance (e.g. couriers, technicians and cleaners)
  • Perform system enhancement UAT and provide user training
  • Liaising with staff at all levels within the organization and service providers
  • Assisting the team with other administration related tasks as required.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business or Accounting will be highly regarded
  • Have proven strong time management & good numeracy skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A proactive & flexible attitude that is prepared to assist & work with other team members
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel & PowerPoint
  • Exposure to logistics/supply-chain or facilities management operations will be highly advantageous
