Document Controller (12 month fixed term contract)

Starting as a small chemical company manufacturing Copper Sulphate on the shores of Coogee Beach, Western Australia, Coogee has grown to become a vibrant and successful national business specialising in the manufacture, terminalling and transport of dangerous goods across the Australian market.

With a corporate vision of delivering long-term growth and value in chemical manufacture, tank terminalling and associated industries we are now seeking an enthusiastic and forward thinking individual to oversee the ongoing development and maintenance of our Document Control systems and processes for our Queensland business over the next 12 months.

Key responsibilities of the Document Controller will be to:

  • Develop and maintain the Queensland Document Management System and associated processes;
  • Manage document workflows ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external requirements and standards; and
  • Undertake all associated tasks relevant to the management, maintenance and publication of associated documentation.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Significant experience with, and knowledge of Document Control systems and practices;
  • High level communication skills including oral, written and interpersonal communication;
  • High level expertise in working with MS Office software packages, and Adobe Acrobat;
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively time manage and manage competing priorities within the workplace.

Whilst in-depth experience of ISO 9001 standards are not mandatory experience working under such standards and associated knowledge is highly preferred.
