We are seeking a highly motivated and positive individual to join the ASCEND Administration team. The successful applicant will assist in delivering excellent administrative support for all our pain management programs. It is essential that the successful applicant can work as part of a dedicated team and be able to undertake tasks in a timely manner. This position is Part-time with the possibility of full time in the future.

It is essential that the successful applicant can work as part of a dedicated, fast-paced team and be able to undertake tasks independently in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Programs Manager, the key responsibilities of this role include:

• Responding diligently and professionally to telephone & email enquiries;

• Assisting with appointment scheduling;

• Providing administrative assistance for the group programs including discharge arrangements and documentation

• Patient information collection;

• Communications, including mailing, scanning and faxing;

• Invoice distribution;

• Assist with credit control as needed;

• Adhoc tasks which may arise;

Desirable Criteria

  • Year 12 pass or equivalent
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office software
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Vigilant attention to detail
  • Friendly, professional, empathetic and courteous nature
  • Ability to work harmoniously as part of a small team
  • Drivers Licence and Motor Vehicle (desirable but not essential)
  • Superior time management skills to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple duties
  • Friendly, professional, empathetic and courteous nature
  • Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team and also independently without supervision
