St John of God Warrnambool Hospital is a 73 bed private hospital providing health care to the Warrnambool, South West Victoria, and Eastern South Australian communities, offering three operating theatres, a health services center, endoscopy suite, day surgery unit, high dependency unit, rehabilitation unit, and mental health therapy rooms.

The Position

Our perioperative services team have an exciting traineeship opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to launch a fulfilling career as a Theatre Technician.  Your main responsibilities involve the safe transport of patients to and from the theatre suite, and assisting with setting up, cleaning and positioning of patients in theatre under the supervision of senior caregivers.

This position will be offered on a temporary 12 month part time basis, working a minimum of 60.8 hours per fortnight.

The successful candidate will have:
