FedUni TAFE – Mt Helen Campus

Full-time, fixed-term appointment for two years.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a TAFE Teacher, Community Services within FedUni TAFE where you will make a real contribution surrounded by passionate and energetic people.

You will be responsible for the delivery of quality Vocational Education and Training including conducting assessments in the Community Services programs and the development of innovative learning activities and assessment strategies enhancing quality teaching. You will also contribute to business processes, leadership, management and mentoring.

As the successful candidate, you will possess current vocational skills and knowledge that will enable you to prepare and deliver vocational training and education programs in a variety of contexts including workplace delivery. You will also have the demonstrated ability to research, select and use a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies to suit the needs of a diverse range of students and be able to apply information and communication technologies to the teaching and learning process.

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) will be required as well as a relevant community services qualification and a minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) (If you currently hold a TAE40110 your qualification will need to be updated by February 2019).

The salary is within the TAFE Teacher T1.1 to T5 range $53,431 to $85,613 p.a. depending on qualifications and experience plus 9.5% superannuation.
