Treasury Assistant/Banking Officer | Brookvale

The primary purpose of the role is to assist in the daily running of banking and treasury function. The ideal candidate will be a bright, upbeat self starter, who enjoys working within a dynamic environment and problem solving. This role is entry level - no qualifications needed

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cash Management

  • Process daily banking and funds clearing
  • Prepare inter-fund transfers

Bank Management

  • Monitor movements in bank accounts and perform daily cash reconciliations
  • Send out daily bank tracker to key stakeholders
  • Identify and investigate retail store banking discrepancies
  • Be the primary point of contact for transactional banking matters for stores
  • Other duties and special projects within skill and competency level as required.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • To ensure reports and work are completed in a timely manner to meet required deadlines

Adhoc

  • Ongoing review and improvement of procedures
  • Ensure punctuality
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • To ensure reports and work are completed in a timely manner to meet required deadlines

SKILLS:

  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Strong computer skills – Intermediate Excel skills included and an ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Netsuite experience highly desirable
  • Openness/willingness to change
  • Desire to understand strategic direction of the business
  • The ability to anticipate what may be required
  • Ability to work autonomously and exercise discretion
  • Ability to work to deadlines
