Located in Cardinia Shire, Bridgewood Integrated Child and Family Centre's design is incorporated with the Bridgewood Primary School, resulting in unique and fully integrated child and family centre within a school setting.  The early learning spaces have been constructed inside the school's Prep learning community building, facilitating the full integration of early learning and primary schooling. The child and family centre comprises a Kindergarten catering to 66 children and an occasional care/community space along with consulting rooms for Maternal and Child Health and visiting practitioners.

As a Diploma Educator you will:

  • Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
  • Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
  • Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation and positive behaviour guidance strategies and will provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning
  • Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
  • Be working part time 20.75 hours per week as per below roster:
    Monday: 8:00am - 3:00pm
    Wednesday: 8:00am - 3:00pm
    Friday: 8:00am - 2:45pm

Position commences 29 January 2019

To be considered you will have:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
  • Experience working as a Diploma Educator in a long day care service
  • Current Working with Children's Check and National Police Check
  • Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
