The Opportunity:

Based in Sydney and reporting to the Head of Sales, we are recruiting a new Associate Sales Executive to join the team.

The overall role objective is generally straight forward; You’ll identify, research and build sales opportunities with companies to drive long-term revenue streams with ongoing partnerships in the NSW client portfolio BUT the business’ you’ll have access to could range anything from FMCG, through to Pharmaceutical, Fashion, Mining & Energy to Hi-Tech Commodities – your market reach is endless.

Duties include:

  • Developing leads and prospects through desk-based research
  • Initiating meetings with SME, National & Multinational Exporters and Importers with the prospect of assisting them with their international supply chain objectives and thus improving control of their shipping / logistics and trade management supply chain, increasing speed to market and cost reduction through process improvements.
  • Prepare briefings for the prospect client ahead of business development meetings
  • Support with the creation and development of client operational reviews
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities via the CRM system
  • Develop strong relationships with existing corporate clients
  • Generate new revenue selling operational business reviews

What we are looking for from you:

  • This role requires a natural sales development professional who has a demonstrated record of success and strong network of SME’s and Multinationals all with a focus on Global Trade
  • You will possess a mentality of self-motivation and be action orientated wanting to grow yourself within the team in order to become part of the bigger and growing global picture.
  • Possess experience in either Freight / Shipping / Logistics / Transport or eCommerce with a good aptitude of understanding technology and international trade.
