Sailing Club Instructors

YMCA Canberra Sailing Club (YMCASC) is a family orientated sailing club situated on Yarralumla Bay, Lake Burley Griffin. The club runs races for off-the-beach dinghies, catamarans and trail-able yachts as well as sailing courses for children and adults.

The Clun provides members with an environment where they can have fun, be safe and enjoy quality racing and training. The Club emphasises family and junior sailing and is an ideal place for the whole family to sail, with excellent facilities and an active membership.

Hour Required: 

  • School Holidays
  • Weekends
  • Weekday Evening (Occasional)

Experiences and Qualifications Required:

  • Must have completed an Australian Sailing Instructor course.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Must have completed an Australian Sailing Discover Sailing level 3 course.
  • Must have an Australian Sailing Power Boat Handling Certificate.
  • Must have completed a Senior First Aid certificate.
  • Must have a Working With Vulnerable People Card.
