Wanangkura Stadium located in South Hedland features an international-standard 400-seat indoor stadium, external netball and basketball courts, gym and fitness rooms, squash courts, kiosk facilities and crèche. The main sports stadium caters for a range of uses from sporting competitions, social events and cultural activities.

About the Role

YMCA WA is currently recruiting for casual Customer Service Officer at Wanangkura Stadium located in South Hedland. This role has responsibility for ensuring that all enquiries, paperwork, sales, customer service and administration pertaining to the Centre’s patrons and members are professionally handled. You will also be responsible for maintaining administration databases and paperwork and in assisting with administration and reception tasks

Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service to customers at all times either in person or via phone
  • Perform clerical tasks related to maintaining the operation of reception
  • Assist in the development of administration systems at the front desk
  • Complete end of shift till cash offs
  • Promote and market the centres programs and services to customers

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant experience in a similar environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proven multitasker with high attention to detail
  • National Police Clearance and HGLTAID003 First Aid certificate
  • Flexibility in availability including weekends
