Regional Group Fitness Manager - Goodlife Victoria

The Regional Group Fitness Manager’s primary focus is to lead, mentor and develop Group Fitness Managers within your region and work with the Clubs, State Management​ and National Group Fitness Manager in achieving goals for the region. The key objective of the role is to increase department performance, manage department costs, promote various group fitness ​specific programs and initiatives​, support the daily operational requirements and people management needs and managing your team accordingly to meet ​these objectives.​

 

The key duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:  

 

  • Ensure each clubs fortnightly budget is not exceeded

  • Ensure all instructors in the region are compliant according to the compliance policy and loaded into Figtree at the time of teaching

  • Ensure each clubs achieves a minimum of 60% class capacity and a minimum of 30% swipes

  • Support and manage the implementation of all new programs and initiatives

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all Goodlife Health Club policies and procedures

  • Ensure effective recruitment of Group Fitness Managers and Instructors, including succession planning in a timely manner

  • Source and generate regional revenue through all opportunities

  • Provide ongoing training and mentoring in all areas to ensure reasonable competency of all Group Fitness Managers and Instructors

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Certificate III in Fitness or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years industry experience

  • Proven leadership and management skills

  • Maintain Fitness Australia registration

  • Maintain First Aid and CPR certificates
