Heavy Equipment Parts Interpreter

Our valued client located in Mackay is a major player in the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) market servicing the heavy industries (Construction & Mining) internationally. They are urgently seeking the expertise of a Heavy Equipment Parts Interpreter 

Reporting to the Service Supervisor you will be responsible for interpreting, processing and expediting parts for both internal and external customers for all product lines. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of parts in a timely manner
  • Provide customers with accurate estimates of time & costs
  • Have the ability to maximise sales through proactively engaging with Customers

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • Current driving licence a
  • Current Forklift licence
  • Parts interpreting / Warehousing certificates highly regarded
  • Intermediate computer skills. Experience using Microsoft AX will be highly regarded
  • Sound working knowledge of earth moving equipment and strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and build strong working relationships
  • Comprehensive Understanding of Parts Sales
  • Proven experience in inventory control and warehouse systems
  • An ability to work in a high activity environment
