About us

Coliban Region Water Corporation is based in Bendigo and is one of the largest Victorian regional urban water corporations. Our service area covers 16,550 square kilometres including 49 towns and is at the southern gateway to the Murray-Darling basin - Australia's food bowl. We manage, maintain and operate over 50 reservoirs and water storage basins and provide water and waste services to both urban and rural customers.

About the role

The IT Service Delivery Officer is responsible for providing technical support and advice to Coliban Water staff and contractors using the Coliban Water IT systems, ensuring the timely response and resolution/escalation of Service Desk requests to minimise disruptions to the business and developing IT Service solutions to improve business efficiencies.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Resolving Service Desk requests
  • Maintaining Desktop Systems, including laptop fleet and Photocopier fleet, application packaging and deployment
  • Development of laptop SOE including configuration and specifications
  • Assisting with IT System administration
  • Assisting with Information & Systems projects as required

What we are looking for

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in an IT Service Desk
  • A tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science or similar is desirable
  • Technical, analytical and organisational skills to interpret system faults and arrange rectification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively consult with key stakeholders including internal staff, customers and external organisations.

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2017 Band 3, $64K - $70K (base) and a salary will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
