Your new company
Our client is a well established and well known (locally and internationally) architecture and interior design firm that has many years experience operating in Melbourne. Specialising in residential, hospitality and workplace projects, this practice prides itself on their longstanding client relationships and their commitment to design excellence. This practice employ a talented team of designers and due to a substantial project wins and growth in 2017-2019 are now looking for a Interior Designers or Architect (with focus on interiors) to join them.

Your new role
You will be joining a growing and ambitious architectural and interior design team in a high profile and large scale project. The project scope involves managing projects from early concept stage through to completion, up to marketing and on-+site supervision. You will also be involved in the development of the project master plan and working with heritage and new build components to submit town planning. You will be working closely with the Associates, Architects and other senior staff members.

Sector experience: High end Residential, Education, Workplace or Hospitality sectors.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum 4+ years’ post graduation experience and be well versed in all project stages; including strong concept and presentation skills, client liaison experience, consultant co-ordination and team management.
Strong Revit and Adobe Suite skills are preferred not mandatory; as is your ability to effectively manage projects while demonstrating excellent organisational and time management skill. Due to the nature of the role, it’s important that you have excellent communication skills as this role will see you heavily liaise with external consultants, client and manage an internal team of designers.

We are seeking a good design thinker with aptitude for commercial outcomes. You must be focused on design excellence and be able to explain your passion and ethos to achieve that. Your experience working in either top tier or mid-sized firms are highly looked at.
