John Paul College is one of Queensland’s largest independent Early Learning to Year Twelve co-educational schools. Founded in 1982 as the state’s first Christian Ecumenical school, we have a collective enrolment of approximately 2000 students.

Located 20 minutes south of Brisbane’s CBD, the natural bushland campus features extensive and modern facilities to support a leading-edge technology programme and wide-ranging cultural and sporting opportunities.

The Position

We are seeking an experienced football specialist to co-ordinate our club, interschool TAS and representative football program, commencing January 2019 on a part time (10 hours per week) contract for 2019.

They have a responsibility for planning, coordinating, communicating and promoting a vibrant and inclusive program. Applicants must also have the ability to develop inclusive opportunities for development and coaching, foster positive relationships with school and club associations, and communicate with staff, students and parents in a timely and respectful manner. It is expected that the successful applicant will attend the College for training, meetings, student/parent interaction, competition and trials.

The Candidate

The Football Coordinator will maintain a spirit and character that is supportive and recognises the worth of each student as an individual in accordance with the College Ethos. The successful applicant will be experienced in football coaching and/or administration. Knowledge, experience and practical skills will have been acquired and demonstrated in a similar role within a school, club or football association.

Applicants must be prepared to model and maintain the Christian ecumenical ethos, values and beliefs of the College.  The position requires a positive notice Blue Card.
