Junior Estimator

About the company

An established manufacturing organisation; with various sites across Australia. They have a stable client base within the building / construction industry and have been operating for a substantial amount of time.

About the role

Generating quotations from building plans and information received from the client, liaising with clients regarding queries.

Duties

  • Estimating and quote generation from building plans / information
  • Client liaison regarding queries around information received
  • Following up on missing information
  • Reporting

Skill and experience

  • Qualifications in building / construction would be advantageous
  • Experience in a similar position within the building / manufacturing industry
  • Strong organisational skills
  • High attention to detail, with a focus on quality
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills in Microsoft suite, advantageous would be experience on quoting systems
