About the Role

 

We are seeking an experienced and hardworking Recruitment Officer to join our Central Office in Rivervale, WA on a full-time basis. This is a 6 month contract position, commencing January 2019. 

Supporting a busy Recruitment function, you will be responsible for the coordination of end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities within Southern Cross Care. 

As a goal-orientated person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, you will work closely with hiring managers to ensure quality and efficient attraction and selection of talent in bulk recruitment campaigns, and coordinate a diverse spectrum of vacancies ranging from aged, disability and social care, to allied health and corporate office roles.

Key Duties 

 

  • Oversee application shortlisting in an e-recruitment system and undertake candidate phone screens
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure advertisement and recruitment materials are accurate and relevant
  • Schedule interviews and provide assistance with interviews as required
  • Conduct reference and compliance checks
  • Offer management and onboarding of new employees 
     

Key Selection Criteria 

 

  • Demonstrated experience in an end-to-end recruitment role, managing high-volume vacancies
  • Intermediate proficiency with e-Recruitment systems and online platforms such as Seek and LinkedIn, as well as MS Office suite programs
  • Sound ability to work under pressure and adapt to a changing work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, work to meet deadlines and strong attention to detail
  • Prior experience in the Healthcare industry will be highly regarded
