Sourcing Specialist

Ignite (formerly Alliance Recruitment) is a current supplier of contract and permanent staff to the Utilities, Engineering, and Local Government sectors across Perth and Western Australia.

We are partnered with a well-known Perth CBD based organisation, and are assisting them with the recruitment of 3 Sourcing Specialists. If you have experience managing new and existing contracts, specifically within higher value contracts, and are seeking a new challenge this could be the role for you.

There are two permanent positions, and one fixed term 12 month contract available, and all 3 positions are available immediately.  A salary range of between $105K to $125K inclusive of super is available.

As the new Sourcing Specialist, you’ll be working in a centralised Contracts Management team.  Your portfolio will cover different areas of procurement, so you won’t need to be a specialist in one particular area, although ideally you’ll have managed higher value contracts.  Some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver sustainable, commercially sound and acceptable contracts
  • Assist in improving overall risk management, procurement and corporate governance in all commercial arrangements
  • Contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives and management of a portfolio of multi-year outsourcing engagements and panel contracts
  • Contributing to overall development and maintenance of sourcing strategies
  • Explore and implement contract incentive mechanisms
  • Providing advise to business end users and acting as a mentor to others within the team.
In terms of your background, you’ll have extensive experience managing Contracts and developing sourcing strategies. You’ll have exceptional stakeholder management abilities, and will be able to work closely with suppliers and end users within the business.

You’ll be degree qualified and have strong commercial acumen.  You’ll be a high performer, joining a high performing team of Contracts Specialists and Contracts Manager.

If you match the above criteria and are looking to join this well-known company and growing team, please submit your details by clicking on Apply Now.

Please note: applicants must have full Australian work rights to be considered for this role, and the successful candidate must be able to obtain a national police clearance as terms of employment.
